BUSINESS MEETING MINUTES - APRIL 30, 2003
The gathering was called to order by Frank Carpenter, acting Moderator, in the absence of Lucinda Duncan, Moderator.
TREASURER
Treasurer: $1316 in treasury - all dues paid, We have money in the treasury to pay for Paul Razor ‘s R&B, up to $500 voted in the last meeting.
Henceforth the Treasurer will be here an hour early to collect checks as we arrive. Deposits are made the day we leave.

Change to disciplines voted: to add family celebrations and crises are reasons for excused absences.
One resignation - Richard Erhardt who is moving to Spokane, WA

NOMINATION
One nomination - nominations are due two weeks ahead of the convocation tothe Scribe. The nominee must have been contacted and agreed to be nominated as an invitee and given a copy of the disciplines.
Nomination by Frank Hall . . . Rosemary Brae McNatt, Fourth Universalist in Manhattan.
Frank hall spoke to what she would bring to the group. Josh too. Fred Gillis too. Invitation to the next meeting has been extended to “Rose.” Moderator will write a letter.
Greg Chute will be away in South Africa in the fall - on sabbatical.

How is the email/web notice system working?
On the web - have and can put up - list of all past members, costs of each meeting, a printable receipt for each session which you can use for your treasurer. I would like you to send to me, attached to an email, any old papers you have so that we can put them on-line.

MEETING SITE
Other Locations: Martha, want s another place with bether awesthetics, and better food. Knows people want single rooms - there is anew episcopal camp and conference centre in Greenfield New hmpshire - eight miles north of Peterborough. Group vited to have a report on this new Centre.
Dec 1-3 are the meeting dates for the fall - cost will be on line.

Post modern challenge to liberal theology, Razor coming - he presents three papers - all written - 29 pages for each
Modernity and liberal theology, Post mod and liberal theology, living in the soirit of the age, post modernity and liberal faith,
responders will instead me : presponders to contextualize the talk and bring it in - will have papers a month ahead - model comes from the theological opportunities Program, at harvard.

Moderstor is moving to Monday night Chapoel rather than the closing chapel.
